First Discoveries Child Development Center

On June 15, 2008, First Discoveries opened with just seven preschoolers attending a summer camp program. That fall, we added a second preschool classroom and a few months later our program expanded, adding three infant-toddler classrooms.  A few years later, we added a school-age program called "Discovery Club," which includes summer camp as well as after school care

In 2015, we added a second location to serve the Brandon/Valrico area.  First Discoveries Academy offers preschool and a school age program.  They also have a private school serving Kindergarten/Primary age children and an inclusion program for children with special needs.

Our most recent expansion has been to purchase a historical building just blocks from our current location.  We are excited to renovate this beautiful building and create a new home for our South Tampa program.

Since its inception, our school has focused on serving the children and families providing high quality early learning programs.  Since our humble beginnings of a summer camp for just seven children, we are honored and excited to now serve over 175 children at two locations.

We appreciate the important task with which families have entrusted us ... caring for and educating their children.  We look forward to celebrating more than ten years of joyful learning ... and we look forward to many more!
