To help give your child a great start in life, we have provided links to local agencies and organizations focused on supporting families with guidance and resources.

Early Learning Coalition of Hillsborough County

The Early Learning Coalition's website has more information on VPK (Voluntary PreKindergarten), School Readiness (tuition assistance for lower income families), and family-friendly events.  

Children's Board of Hillsborough County

School Choice Options for Families

To learn more about school choice options, including scholarships for children with disabilities and/or need-based scholarships, visit the following sites:

Step Up for Students: FTC Scholarship (financial need-based scholarship for ages kindergarten and up)

Step Up for Students: Gardiner Scholarship (for children ages three and up with disabilities)

Office of School Choice: McKay Scholarship (for certain children with disabilities, ages kindergarten and up) 

Hispanic Services Council

The Hispanic Services Council provides support and mentoring for Latino families in Hillsborough County.  Here is a link to their programs and services.
